We are honored that the Philadelphia Business Journal recently featured All-Star Sports Academy in an article published on March 17th. Here are the key points from this article that highlight our exciting future, growth, and dedication to delivering exceptional training for baseball and softball athletes.

All-Star Sports Academy is looking to expand beyond the Philadelphia region, with the goal of reaching up to 30 training centers in the next four years. This expansion will largely occur through acquisitions within the highly fragmented sports training industry, focusing on the I-95 corridor between Long Island, New York, and Baltimore.

As we grow, we are eager to include more softball programming, with about 80% of our current clients focused on baseball. Our expansion efforts will aim to add coaches and training centers for softball players as well, allowing us to reach even more athletes.

Last year, All-Star Sports Academy provided over 70,000 lessons at our current training centers in Broomall, Conshohocken, Downingtown, Havertown, Warminster, and West Chester in Pennsylvania, and Cherry Hill in New Jersey. These locations attract more than 220,000 visitors annually, with our website averaging over 25,000 monthly visitors and more than 35,000 subscribers across our e-newsletter and social media channels. Our company is also known for organizing over 230 tournaments annually, catering to various age groups and offering college showcases for high school athletes.

We are particularly proud of our focus on developing players at all skill levels, with over 1300+ NCAA alumni and 150 MLB draft picks having passed through our programs. Vince Russomagno Jr., who joined the business in 2017 after a successful career in the financial services industry, serves as our Chief Operating Officer. Vince Jr. grew up playing at All-Star Sports Academy, joining the West Chester location as a player at 13 years old. He is now instrumental in driving the growth and success of our company, alongside Jim Freeman, one of the founders and partners of ASSA who established the academy in 1998.

The business is driven by our mission: “Inspiring and mentoring young athletes to become successful individuals — one game, one lesson, and one player at a time.” In line with our growth strategy, we recently welcomed John Adams, the former president of the Arena Football League’s Philadelphia Soul, as our Director of Corporate Partnerships. His leadership has already helped us secure partnerships with several well-known brands.

At All-Star Sports Academy, we pride ourselves on our standardized training techniques, our staff which has over 100 employees, and our shared services model. This centralized structure supports all of our training centers in sales, finance, human resources, marketing, IT, and recruiting.

As we continue to grow and expand, we remain dedicated to providing the best experiences for our athletes, helping them succeed both on and off the field. Thank you for being part of the All-Star Sports Academy family! We look forward to many more years of success and growth.
