This week at All-Star Sports Academy Cherry Hill / Scanzano Combat, our softball summer camp came to an inspiring close. From the first drill on Monday morning to the final game on Thursday afternoon, the energy, effort, and enthusiasm of our athletes never wavered. Guided by ASSA’s mission to inspire and mentor young athletes to become successful individuals – one game, one lesson, and one player at a time, our campers embraced every challenge, forged new friendships, and showed tremendous growth both on and off the field.
Throughout the week, our coaching staff focused on skill development, confidence building, and team spirit, emphasizing what it means to truly “leave it all out there.” Whether it was fielding ground balls, fine-tuning swings, or cheering each other on, each athlete brought their best every day.
At the conclusion of camp, we had the opportunity to recognize several campers whose contributions captured the spirit of the program:

- Batting Superstar – Mia Christopher
- Cannon Arm – Kate Kolich
- Leave It All Out There Award – Ann Kolich
- Defensive Warrior – Ava Brooks
- Energy Superstar – Ada Behrens
- Strikeout Queen – Summer Brennan
- Dynamic Duo – Emma Marenco & Olivia Torres
- Speed Demon – Riley Boyce
- Top Teammate – Mikhaila Bedor
Each of these athletes embodied the core values we strive to instill at All-Star Sports Academy. They demonstrated that when we CARE, it becomes easy to PREPARE and when we PREPARE, it becomes natural to SHOW UP. Throughout the week, they SHOWED UP with energy, focus, and heart. Because of that, they each took meaningful steps forward in their personal and athletic journey. At ASSA, we believe that GROWTH fueled by discipline, preparation, and care is the true measure of success, and these athletes are a shining example of that journey in action.
