All-Star Sports Academy proudly congratulates Combat Futures alum, Chas McCormick, on his induction into the Chester County Sports Hall of Fame on November 8, 2025. This well-deserved honor recognizes Chas’s outstanding accomplishments in Major League Baseball and his unwavering dedication to the game, traits that have defined him since his early days training at ASSA.
A native of West Chester, PA, McCormick’s baseball journey is rooted in hard work and determination. After an exceptional collegiate career at Millersville University, where he ranked among the program’s all-time leaders in several single-season categories, including hits, RBIs, and home runs, Chas was selected by the Houston Astros in the 2017 MLB Draft. His steady rise through the minors and his impact at the Major League level have made him a fan favorite in the Astros organization.
McCormick’s breakout moments came on baseball’s biggest stage. In 2022, he hit two home runs against the New York Yankees in the American League Championship Series (ALCS), helping the Astros secure their spot in the World Series. There, Chas delivered another unforgettable performance, tallying four hits and making a memorable leaping catch in the ninth inning of a pivotal Game Five victory, a play that helped Houston capture the 2022 World Series title.
Chas’s accomplishments are a testament to his relentless work ethic, team-first attitude, and competitive spirit, qualities that mirror the foundation of All-Star Sports Academy’s Combat Futures teams. His success continues to inspire young athletes across the region to chase their dreams and believe in their potential.
Congratulations, Chas, on your induction into the Chester County Sports Hall of Fame! The entire All-Star Sports Academy family celebrates this incredible milestone with you and looks forward to seeing what’s next in your career.
