On June 16–17, 2025, All-Star Sports Academy hosted its highly anticipated College Coaches Instructional Camp at The Glen Mills School in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, welcoming an incredible lineup of collegiate coaches and over 50 baseball players from the 13U – 18U age groups.
This two-day event delivered exactly what it promised – elite instruction, position-specific development, and a true glimpse into the college-level experience. Athletes had the unique opportunity to train under the guidance of coaches from the following programs:
- La Salle University
- University of Delaware
- Mount St. Mary’s University
- West Chester University
- Millersville University
- Goldey-Beacom College
- Elizabethtown College
- Washington College
- Wilmington University
Each morning was dedicated to focused, skill-specific training – including infield, outfield, catching, and pitching. Players were placed into small groups and received direct feedback from college coaches, allowing them to further develop their mechanics and elevate their performance in real time.
Afternoons shifted to offense, with players rotating through live batting practice, bunting stations, cage work, and mechanical hitting seminars – all taught by the same NCAA-level staff.
Why Events Like This Matter
This camp is more than just a chance to train – it’s a pipeline to the next level. Athletes gain hands-on exposure to coaches who may one day recruit them, while also learning what it truly takes to excel at the collegiate level.
The College Coaches Instructional Camp aligns perfectly with All-Star Sports Academy’s mission:
“Inspiring and mentoring young athletes to become successful individuals – one game, one lesson, and one player at a time”
Through immersive, instruction-based experiences like this, players not only improve their skills, but build confidence, leadership, and a pathway for their baseball journey.
