All-Star Sports Academy proudly congratulates GEYA’s 12-year-old All-Stars on winning the Pennsylvania State Championship! Their incredible performance has earned them the honor of representing the state as “Team Pennsylvania” in the Little League World Series Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament.
After back-to-back wins over Maryland (7-2) and Delaware (7-3), GEYA has secured a spot in the Championship game on August 8th at 3 PM. If they win the Regionals, they’ll advance to the biggest stage in youth baseball, Williamsport for the Little League World Series!
We’re especially proud to recognize several current and former ASSA Downingtown athletes on this team:
- Marek Kalavek
- Aiden Mercer
- Justin Shaw
- Ethan Herbein
- Logan Wisneski
- Heath Podvia
- Macallen Chervenka
- Franky Kolter
The entire team has put in the hard work and dedication to reach this point, and we couldn’t be more excited to see them shine on this national stage.
Let’s show our support!
You can cheer on Team Pennsylvania as their game on August 8th will be streamed live on ESPN. Don’t miss your chance to watch this talented group continue their championship run.
