At All-Star Sports Academy, we take immense pride in watching our athletes grow and nothing makes us prouder than celebrating their success at the next level.
That’s why we’re thrilled to share that Futures Program alum Eddie Micheletti Jr. has been named the Northwest League Player of the Week by Minor League Baseball for the week of June 30 – July 6! Earlier this year, Eddie had the opportunity to log a few at-bats with the Toronto Blue Jays during Spring Training, giving him a taste of Major League competition and he’s been building on that momentum ever since.
After a collegiate career at Virginia Tech, Eddie is now an outfielder for the Vancouver Canadians, where he posted jaw-dropping numbers over a recent six-game stretch:
- .500 batting average
- .520 on-base percentage
- 1.000 slugging percentage
- 1.520 OPS
- 2 doubles, 3 home runs, 4 runs scored, 7 RBIs, and 2 walks
He now ranks eighth in batting average and ninth in OPS within the league, and currently leads the Northwest League with 14 home runs, a reflection of the same dedication, preparation, and mindset he carried with him during his time in the Futures Program.

Eddie’s latest accolade is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when talent, opportunity, and preparation come together and how athletes in our Futures Program are trained to rise to the occasion.
