Celebrate President’s Day with pitching instruction at the President’s Day Pitching Clinic, hosted in partnership with Whitpain Recreation Association at All-Star Sports Academy’s Conshohocken Training Center. This special two-hour clinic is designed for pitchers who want to sharpen their mechanics, improve command, and better understand how to take the mound with confidence as the season approaches.
Led by Eric Ruth, former pitcher for the New York Yankees, along side our ASSA certified instructors, this clinic offers athletes the opportunity to learn directly from a coach with professional playing experience. Eric brings a deep understanding of pitching mechanics, game strategy, and arm care, along with a passion for teaching young athletes how to develop properly and safely.
Throughout the clinic, athletes will work through drills focused on proper throwing mechanics, balance, timing, and repeatable delivery. Instruction will also cover key pitching concepts such as grip fundamentals, mound presence, and maintaining arm health. Players will receive individualized feedback to help them identify areas for improvement and take meaningful steps forward in their development.
Beyond the technical instruction, this clinic emphasizes confidence, focus, and preparation, qualities that separate successful pitchers on game day.
